Boston City Breaks
Boston is yours to discover, combining the old and the new like no other city in America. Put on your walking shoes and explore along the Freedom Trail, a 3-mile walking tour of 16 historic sites from the Colonial and Revolutionary Era. A red brick trail on the streets and sidewalks begins at the Information Centre and takes you through the downtown financial/shopping district to Faneuil Hall, through the North End and finally into Charlestown.
You could hop on the famous Old Town Trolley Tour, which brings Boston's history and sights to life while offering an excellent way to traverse the city. An alternative but fun version of this is to take one of the Boston Duck Tours in amphibious landing vehicles that will take you a tour of the city before splashing into the Charles River for some different views.
Be sure to ride the swan boats in the Public Gardens, shop and eat in Quincy Market, perhaps enjoy a dinner cruise or a dinner overlooking the lights of the city. Take the 'T' to visit Harvard Yard and Cambridge where you can shop in the many stores in the Galleria, or you could even take a whale watch cruise from Boston's spectacular Aquarium
Enjoy the friendly welcome for which the people of Boston are well known, and have fun exploring the city's wonderful micro breweries, restaurants, and numerous museums and art galleries. Whatever you decide to do, Boston is a great location for your next break!
