Winter Park

Originally established in 1939 as a public ski area for the people of Denver, Winter Park has grown up into one of the USA’s most family friendly ski resorts. There are 3081 acres of terrain and 166 trails split across Winter Park and Mary Jane mountains.

Winter Park

Beginners will thrive at Winter Park with its a dedicated beginner area. Its a a great location for families or anyone looking for their first ski holiday. The remaining terrain here is weighted towards intermediate skiers. You'll be able to enjoy plenty of challenging but well-groomed runs.

Mary Jane Mountain

Expert skiers will want to head to Mary Jane Mountain. Renown for its selection of mogul studded black runs, these truly testing pistes are not for the faint of heart! There is also the option to ski the Parsenn Bowl or Vasquez ridge- home to some daring alpine terrain.

Where to stay

At Winter Park base village we can arrange ski in-ski out accommodation, or hotels/condos that are just a short walk from the slopes. Whatever you choose, you will find a family friendly vibe in the handful of restaurants and bars here. Alternatively, the town of Winter Park is just 2.5 miles down the road. This is a good option if you are looking for affordable accommodation, or to enjoy a variety of shopping and restaurants. Getting there

Connected by 2 daily flights between Denver from London, the resort is easily reached from the UK.  Upon arrival the slopes are 1.5-hours drive west of the city by hire car. Alternatively, take the ski train which runs from the heart of downtown Denver, every weekend during ski season.
