Mammoth Mountain

Towering above the town of Mammoth Lakes, Mammoth Mountain is one of California’s premier ski resorts. Blessed with around 350 inches a year of snow and 300 days a year of sunshine, it offers the best of both worlds. Expect good snow coverage, whilst experiencing the blue skies and sunshine that Cali is famed for. One of the states largest ski resorts, Mammoth Mountains 3500 acres of terrain includes 175 trails. There is a reasonable balance of runs - with the majority being suitable for intermediate skiers. The difference is split evenly between beginners and experts, making this good for mixed ability groups. If freestyle is your thing, then you’ll also find ten terrain parks offering up plenty of jumps and 2 halfpipes. Approximately 300 miles from LA, Mammoth Mountain can be reached by car in around 5-6 hours. Alternatively  we can arrange a connecting flight for you to Bishop Airport - a 45 minute transfer from the resort. Choose from a selection of ski in-ski out accommodation that allows direct access to the slopes. Otherwise there are plentiful options in the village centre, including studios and apartments. In the village you will also find a plethora of restaurants, bars and shops.
