Itinerary
DAY 1 Toronto

Touch down in Toronto and head to your downtown hotel. Once checked in, you’ll receive your travel pack and have the rest of the day free. Stroll along the waterfront, soak up the buzz of Canada’s largest city, or simply relax before the adventure begins.

DAY 2 Toronto

Start your journey with a guided city tour. See Old and New City Hall, bustling Chinatown, the elegant University of Toronto, and the lively Harbourfront. You can even take the opportunity to scale the CN Tower for panoramic city views. The afternoon is yours to explore at leisure, whether it’s shopping in the Eaton Centre or wandering leafy Queen’s Park.

DAY 3 Niagara Falls Excursion

A full-day trip takes you through pretty Niagara-on-the-Lake before following the scenic Niagara Parkway to the world-famous Falls. Walk along the viewing platforms or upgrade to a Hornblower boat tour for a thrilling ride to the base of the cascades. You’ll return to Toronto in the evening, where you can explore the world class and diverse foodie scene.

DAY 4, 5 & 6 VIA Rail (The Canadian)

Board the legendary Canadian and spend three days watching the landscape unfold outside your window. Pass shimmering lakes, golden prairies and wide-open skies as the train carries you west. Enjoy meals in the dining car, time to read or relax, and the romance of overnight rail travel

DAY 7 VIA Rail (The Canadian) - Jasper National Park

Wake up in the Rockies as your train rolls into Edmonton and then Jasper. After settling into your hotel, join a guided tour of the park: see Pyramid and Patricia Lakes, Maligne Canyon, and if you choose to, you could cruise across Maligne Lake to the picture-perfect Spirit Island. You’ll enjoy an overnight stay in Jasper where you might choose to do some star gazing or take the SkyTram up to The Whistlers mountain for unique evening views.

DAY 8 Jasper National Park - Banff National Park

One of the world’s most scenic drives awaits. Travel the Icefields Parkway, stopping at the Columbia Icefield, where you could explore the Athabasca Glacier on the Ice Explorer. Pause at Peyto Lake’s striking blue waters before arriving in Banff for a two-night stay.

DAY 9 Banff National Park

Spend the morning exploring Banff National Park: Bow Falls, Tunnel Mountain, Johnston Canyon, and the grand Banff Springs Hotel. The highlight: a visit to Lake Louise, one of the most photographed lakes in the world. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure in Banff.

DAY 10 Banff National Park - Kamloops aboard The Rocky Mountaineer

Experience one of the world’s most scenic rail journeys aboard the Rocky Mountaineer, travelling West between Banff and Kamloops. As you glide through the heart of the Canadian Rockies, marvel at towering peaks, glacier-fed rivers, and wildlife—all while enjoying gourmet cuisine and exceptional service onboard.

 

DAY 11 Kamloops - Vancouver

Continue your journey in style from Kamloops to Vancouver aboard the Rocky Mountaineer. DAY 12 Vancouver

DAY 13 Vancouver with optional full day excursion to Victoria

Choose between free time in Vancouver or a ferry trip to Victoria on Vancouver Island. Explore its historic harbour, parliament buildings, and Beacon Hill Park before returning in the evening.

If you’re in Vancouver for the night, make the most of it with the city’s nightlife scene. Enjoy a sunset drink on a rooftop bar, take in a show at a theatre or comedy club, or join locals in one of the buzzing districts like Granville Street.

DAY 14 Vancouver & Home

Enjoy a final morning at leisure before transferring to Vancouver Airport for your flight home.
