Arrive into Toronto, collect your car and make your way to your downtown hotel
Enjoy your time exploring this cosmopolitan city. Here you can take a ride to the top of the CN Tower, offering a spectacular view of the city and the more daring may like to try the edge walk, the world’s highest full circle hands-free walk. Toronto also has a great selection of museums including the Ontario Science Centre and the Royal Ontario Museum which is particularly popular with children for its dinosaur collection. For those looking for outdoor activities, Centre Island is the place to go with great cycle paths, wading pools and in summer it is home to the Centreville Amusement Park.
The spectacular sight of Niagara Falls is less than 2 hours by road from Toronto which makes it a fantastic day trip where your family can see the stunning sight of the falls or try one of the exciting trips such as the Hornblower cruise which takes you right up to the falls or the ‘Journey Behind the Falls’ for a unique view of the falls from below and behind.
Drive to Ottawa along the scenic route, taking in the St Lawrence River.
Canada's attractive capital city effortlessly combines historic buildings with wide open public spaces. Ottawa has many family friendly attractions including the fascinating Canadian Museum of History, home to the Canadian Children’s Museum. The Canada Aviation and Space Museum has interactive exhibits, a flight simulator and the opportunity for sightseeing flights over the area. On a nice day, nearby Gatineau Park has plenty of hiking and biking trails to enjoy or you may like or take a boat cruise along the city’s inter-connecting rivers and canals.
Today drive into the scenic Laurentian Mountains and the resort town of Mont Tremblant.
Mont Tremblant is a year round mountain resort, popular for skiing in the winter and many exciting outdoor activities in the summer. The centre of town is completely pedestrianised which makes it a safe and easy place for families to explore
Children of all ages will enjoy the summer Skyline luge trail which is a thrilling 1.4 km ride down the mountain on special luge carts. Other activities on offer include canoeing, rowing and paddle boating on the lake, hiking, mountain biking or just a scenic ride up the mountain gondola. The more adventurous may like to try one of the zip-lining trails through the forest.
Explore North America's only walled city. Experience the charm of 'Old France', with winding cobblestone streets, quaint boutiques and restaurants housed in buildings over 400 years old. Outside of the walls you can visit the Citadel, an historic fort and the oldest military building in Canada. Animal lovers may enjoy a whale watching trip on the St Lawrence River or a visit to the Aquarium Du Quebec – home to over 10,000 marine animals including polar bears, seals and walruses.
The Galeries De La Capitale, just outside the city is home to the Méga Parc which is a huge indoor amusement centre including roller coasters, a Ferris wheel, rope apparatus, climbing wall, miniature golf, bowling, and an ice skating rink. It is a family attraction for all seasons.
