Our once in a lifetime collection is a collection of unique luxury travel experiences in the USA and Canada.

Be part of a hand-picked adventure that can be arranged as a standalone itinerary or encompassed in a grander voyage.

North Americas most luxurious train – The Rocky Mountaineer

The Rocky Mountaineer offers you the chance to travel through the USA and Canada in both comfort and style.

Walk the red carpet before stepping aboard a luxurious rail journey that will leisurely transport you through North America. Travel the dramatic lakes and mountains of the Canadian Rockies, or the vast red canyons of Colorado and Utah.

Sit back and soak up the scenery from panoramic windows or a glass domed observation lounge. Savour elegantly plated local dishes, and fine beverages as incredible scenery and wildlife that passes by your window.

The Rocky Mountaineer only travels in daylight hours, meaning you won’t miss a minute of the dramatic landscapes. You’ll also be able to enjoy a good night’s sleep before resuming your journey the following morning.

We can arrange trips aboard the Rocky Mountaineer ranging from 1-10 nights. These can be combined as part of a self-drive itinerary in Canada or combine this with an Alaska cruise.

Journey To The Tundra – Polar bear watching in Churchill, Canada

At the last count, Churchill’s human population was just 870, slightly lower than the number of polar bears that take up residence here whilst waiting for Hudson Bay to freeze over.

During this short window travellers can observe these incredible animals gearing up for their long winter on the ice. From the safety and comfort of an arctic crawler you’ll be able to watch these curious and at times playful bears in their natural habitat.

If travelling in the summer months you also have the option of spotting Beluga Whales, these rare creatures migrate to the warmer waters of the Churchill River each year as they come to birth their calves and feed.

Your trip will typically range from four to six nights and can be easily combined with a broader trip of Canada.

Riding The Mother Road – Route 66 by Motorcycle

Spanning 2448 miles from the skyscrapers of the ‘Windy City’ to the sun kissed shores of Santa Monica Pier,
Route 66 is probably the most famous highway in the USA if not the world.

Some dream of driving a luxury convertible, but for the ultimate bucket list experience we recommend two wheels. Whether you are riding solo or bringing a friend we can arrange an unforgettable road trip along the Mother Road. We can arrange an independent itinerary or why not join a group tour.

Passing through eight different states and three time zones, you’ll see more of America than most people see in their lifetime. Experience varying landscapes, quirky small towns, and heaps of nostalgia. Think 1950’s style diners, retro motels and old-fashioned filling stations straight out of the movies!

Our guided tours include the very latest motorcycle models, a door-to-door luggage service, a support vehicle and many other extras that will make your journey as smooth as possible.

In search of Grizzlies – Knights Inlet Lodge, Canada

Floating on a fjord on the West Coast of Canada, Knights Inlet Lodge offers its guests some of the very best wildlife viewing in the country.

Spend a two to four nights in a rustic lodge that can only be reached by boat or sea plane. Your journey to Knights Inlet is part of the adventure as you travel from Campbell River.

Surrounded by mountains the appropriately named Great Bear Rainforest, the scenery here is as impressive as the wildlife. The forests here are roamed by wolves, and the inlet is home to whales, seals and otters.

Typically, the bear viewing season runs from May-October.

Visit in Spring and you’ll spot young cubs and adult grizzlies emerging from hibernation to forage on new growth. Towards the end of the season, the salmon run takes place,  meaning you may see bears feasting in the river.

We can arrange a two-to-four-night stay at Knights Inlet Lodge, with the option of combining these with an onward trip. Take a city break in laid back Vancouver, set sail on an Alaska cruise or ride the Rocky Mountaineer.

Auroras Dance – A winter escape to the Yukon

The Yukon is one of the best places in the world to view the natural phenomenon of the Northern Lights. With a season that normally stretches from August to April, you’ll have plenty of chances to observe this colourful display.

Watch the Aurora Borealis near Whitehorse, the Yukon’s capital city, and the former Goldrush hub of Dawson City.

When travelling in winter, we can arrange  dog sledding, ice fishing, snowmobiling or snow shoeing – making this one of our most exciting unique luxury travel experiences.

A Cowboys Life – Ranch Holidays

A ranch holiday can be a memorable way for adventure loving families to reconnect with each other and enjoy the great outdoors.

This is your chance to be part of an authentic cowboy adventure.  Saddle up and ride amongst rugged landscapes that are straight out of a western.

As night falls you’ll enjoy a campfire and home style cooking under starlit skies, before retiring to rustic yet luxurious accommodations.

As well as daily horse rides, America’s best dude ranches often offer a host of other activities, including archery, shooting, fishing or white-water rafting – perfect for active families.

We can arrange ranch holidays across the USA including Arizona, Wyoming, Colorado and of course Texas.
