Dude Ranch - Sedalla, Colorado

Lost Valley Ranch is located in the Pike National Forest about two and a half hours south west of Denver. Although a forest fire went through the area in 2002, the ranch was relatively un-affected. Previous guests reckon the views are far better without so many trees !

The accommodation is in high quality log cabins settled neatly around the main ranch house where guests gather for meals and entertainment. Lost Valley’s big plus is it’s kids and youth programmes with separate entertainment for smaller children, 6 to 12 year olds and the teenagers. Rides are also geared to your ability with morning and afternoon trips out. The ranch has a long guest season – they open their doors in late March and close towards the end of November.

In September they have a number of Horsemanship Clinics and cattle round ups. It’s a popular ranch for returning guests so early booking is recommended. The ranch ask that alcohol be consumed in your cabin. They offer a transfer service between Denver and the ranch.
