Day One Arrive into Toronto, collect your car and make your way to your downtown hotel. You have the rest of the day to relax, find your bearings and have an enjoyable meal in the city. Spend two nights in Toronto
Day Two Enjoy the day exploring this sophisticated city. Included today is a ride to the top of the CN Tower, offering a spectacular view of the city. Spend some time in Chinatown or stroll, browse and enjoy a coffee whilst watching the world go by in Yorkville.
Day Three Leave Toronto and travel south towards the famed Niagara Falls. Stop to Explore the charming 19 th century village of Niagara-on-the-Lake and if time Permits you could take a tour of one of the popular wineries in the region. From here drive the scenic Niagara Parkway to Niagara Falls.
Day Four Spend time this morning exploring Niagara Falls. You could take an optional cruise on the ‘Maid of the Mist’ to see the Falls close up. This afternoon, travel north through the beautiful Muskoka cottage country to the 7600 q km Algonquin Provincial Park. Drive through the Algonquin to Huntsville located About 20 minutes from the westgate of the Algonquin Park. Spend the next two nights in your own log cabin. (Dinner is included tonight)
Day Five You have today at leisure in Algonquin Park, you can paddle a canoe from your cabin, join a Park naturalist for a guided walk or visit the pioneer logging museum. This is a beautiful wilderness park and you will cherish this natural setting. (All meals are included today)
Day Six Leave the serenity of the Park for the bustle of the capital city of Ottawa. This afternoon and evening you may wish to stroll along the canal or enjoy an evening view of the riverfront from the Parliament buildings. (breakfast and lunch are included today)
Day Seven This morning you can visit the Parliament Buildings, the Canadian Museum of Civilisation, take a boat cruise along the city’s inter-connecting rivers and canals or stroll through the streets and stalls of the Byward Market. Travel across the Ottawa River into the province of Quebec and enjoy a leisurely drive to Chateau Montebello, a stunning log lodge situated on the riverbanks near the town of Montebello. Overnight in Montebello.
Day Eight Enjoy a relaxing morning at the Chateau Montebello. Here you can go trailgliding, canoeing, fishing, hiking, boating or flightsee by floatplane. You could also enjoy a swim in one of the resorts pools, practice your golf or visit the small town of Montebello. This afternoon you will be travelling into the scenic Laurentian region of Quebec and the popular village of Tremblant. Spend two nights in Tremblant.
Day Nine Tremblant is a magnificent year round resort, nestled in the Laurentian Mountains. The winding streets, quaint boutiques and restaurants are reminiscent of Old Quebec. The resort boasts a beautiful warm water lake, a golf course and an abundance of outdoor activities. You could take in some shopping or just relax and watch the people go by from one of the numerous outdoor cafes.
Day Ten Todays drive will take you south then east, through small Francophone communities towards Quebec City. Upon reaching Trois Rivieres, you will follow the Chemin du Roy, Canada’s first intercity vehicle road. Once you arrive in the city you will travel into the historic old Quarter which will be your base for the next two nights.
Day Eleven Spend your day exploring North America's only walled city. Experience the charm of 'Old France', with winding cobblestone streets, quaint boutiques and restaurants housed in buildings over 800 years old. Outside of the walls you can visit the Citadel, the Plains of Abraham and the Museum of Civilisation. Admission to the Quebec Experience is also included.
Day Twelve Today you will be driving to Montreal, about 4 hours away. Montreal is the second largest French speaking city in the world and this is reflects in the lifestyle, architecture and, more importantly the food! Montreal is home to a vast array of restaurants and you can spend the evening choosing which one to dine in! Spend two nights here.
Day Thirteen Today can be spent exploring the city. This is a vibrant city with the unique combination of French charm and a North American lifestyle, where you can explore the fashionable shops either on the streets or in the underground malls, visit museums, parks and attractions. Montreal is also host to many festivals throughout the year including, Jazz, Film, Fireworks and Just for Laughs.
Day Fourteen Departing Montreal, you will be returning to the Province of Ontario along the St Lawrence Seaway. In Morrisburg you may wish to visit the historic Upper Canada Village, a living museum with costumed interpreters depicting village life in the 1860’s. In Rockport you can enjoy a comfortable cruise through the scenic 1,000 Islands. Afterwards, travel west to the historic town of Kingston for the night. Here you can tour Old Fort Henry, where you can behold the pomp and pageantry of mid-19 th century military life.
Day Fifteen Today you will have a leisurely half day drive back to Toronto. Your tour will end in either downtown Toronto or at the Toronto International Airport.
